Wow!! What an adventure!
Set in a world full of magic and fantastical creatures, Toad is a thief that has landed in a bit of trouble. He barters his way out of it by offering to gather ingredients for Mr. Owl thinking he can steal them from an apothecary. Only to find out that they are almost impossible to acquire. He happens upon Melena who is an orphan looking for a better life and through lies gets her to help him on this quest.
Along the way they encounter magic beer mugs, fearsome slinkwing dragons, and even find some friendship. There is much fun to be had.
Overall, I loved this adventure and would recommend it to young and old alike that like a bit of magic in their life. Awesome!

She lives in Georgia where she helps run a family farm, so her nails are a fright.
