Fool for Books Giveaway Hop
April 1st to 7th
No better way to spend April Fools Day!
Join me in a giveaway hop!
I had a difficult time deciding what would be a perfect giveaway for April Fool's Day and decided on a book that was one of the most fun reads that I have read over the years. Up for grabs is a copy of Inferno by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle. This will be shipped from Amazon or The Book Depository and open to wherever shipping is available. As always its not a requirement to follow my blog but its always appreciated.

After being thrown out the window of his luxury apartment, science fiction writer Allen Carpentier wakes to find himself at the gates of hell. Feeling he's landed in a great opportunity for a book, he attempts to follow Dante's road map. Determined to meet Satan himself, Carpentier treks through the Nine Layers of Hell led by Benito Mussolini, and encounters countless mental and physical tortures. As he struggles to escape, he's taken through new, puzzling, and outlandish versions of sin--recast for the present day.

I'm not a big fan of practical jokes so don't really do them! Thanks for this amazing giveaway - I would love to win!
ReplyDeleteI do like practical jokes, but I don't pull very many of them. Once when I was little, I put lemon juice on the rest of my family's toothbrushes, which was pretty funny.

ReplyDeleteI HATE practical jokes, I am way to gullible and trusting.
ReplyDeleteApril Fools Day! April fools always seems to come and go without any practical jokes played. This year, however, my parents decided to play a prank. My 62 year-old parents! Well, they purchased a very realistic-looking fake tarantula and placed it on the toilet seat. When lifted the lid, I was in for a surprise. Instead of freaking out, like my parents hoped I would, I just cursed and then asked who's idea it was. I've never played a practical joke on April Fools. I need to get more creative and think of someone who would really appreciate it. Up until this year, I would've never thought my parents would be the practical joke-playing type! By the way, did anyone see Len Goodman from DWTS play a practical joke on gymnast, Aly Raisman and her partner, Mark. I was stunned and then laughed my ass off.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway and I hope you had an uneventful April Fools Day!

ReplyDeleteNo I don't care for practical jokes.
ReplyDeleteI don't like them, and don't do them myself, as they usually are not funny.
ReplyDeleteI don't play elaborate nor harmful pranks. I did pranks back in high school which I consider funny and harmless. I once placed an empty gift-wrapped box on my friend's desk and I signed it "from your secret admirer". The look on her face upon finding it empty was priceless. :D We played pranks on each other back and forth during that week. It was fun! Those were memorable moments for me. :)
