Up for grabs is my copy of an apocolyptic book that I really enjoyed.
This giveaway is open internationally and you can find my review here. I love apocolyptic reads and as soon as I heard about this hop I knew it would be perfect. As always its not a requirement that you follow my blog, but its always appreciated.

The horse on the cover of this one is a bit misleadiing. It realy doesn't have anything to do with horses. It a reference to the white horse of the apocolypse mentioned in Revelations.

ReplyDeleteI have not read many apocalyptic books, but there are some dandy ones out there that I are on my wishlist. White Horse is new to and your review looks great. As of this moment I would choose to take with me one of the Mercy Thompson books by Patricia Briggs, just finished River Marked and it was awesome. ReplyDeleteMy favorite apocalyptic read is Second Ending by James White. It's the first book in that genre that I read an it was my dad'd book. I read it a long long time ago and remains my favorite.

I really haven't read any apocalyptic books. Maybe Swipe and Sneak by Evan Angler might qualify. Those were really good!

ReplyDeleteBlood Red Road by Moira Young! I LOVED it! :D And the world isnt ending the Mayan calendar is circluar; therefore the circle is starting over (think of a clock striking midnight) its awesome bc instead of 24 hours like a clock its a 50 year long calendar. :) So ya, no end of the world...................as an anthropology major this is getting really annoying.

This year, I read Fear Principle, Book 1 in the Jaguar Adams series by Barbara Chepaitis. Very interesting book. I look forward to reading the second.
